My name is Feargal Hogan and I’m a governor at a number of schools in Surrey. I have 3 boys who have all been educated in state schools and I’ve been a governor for nearly 10 years.
I believe strongly in the concept of strategic governance as it is currently constituted in England, even though it is not always very well executed in some schools. Governors should be leaders, setting the vision for our professional colleagues to follow.
I am very interested in the impact of technology on, and in, our schools.
